The
Executive Director, Enterprise Uganda, Mr.
Charles Ocici has told the youths of Rujumbura
County, Rukungiri District that their destiny
rested in their hands. He said they could
not expect to live on donations all the
time but should instead start their own
enterprises after attending the business
clinic."If you can not look after yourself,
you will be given a gift that looks like
you. If you look a like a half a kg of salt
or half a bar of soap, that is what you
will be given", he said. Mr. Ocici
added that "when you start your own
enterprise, you will have a greater wealth
potential than when you have a job."
Mr.
Ocici encouraged the youths to believe in
themselves, listen to their voices and have
the confidence required for self-emanicipation.
He warned the educated youths who despise
going into business that if they did not
take the message seriously, they should
be ready to be employed by less educated
youths who get started in business immediately
after attending the clinic.
