Relating to her personal experience as a civil servant, Mrs. Betty Kasimbazi said at their time, once they completed studies at the University, the jobs were there but that was not the case today. She counseled the youths that if they wanted to become rich, they should not aspire to join the civil service because one can't become rich by being a civil servant. "What the civil service does is to pamper people with its so called permanent and pensionable jobs with perceived security, but in the end you cant become rich." she said.

She said she was one of those passionate with promoting individuals who want to do their own things despite her employment status and that is why she is a key advocate of the Youths empowerment programme conducted by Enterprise Uganda. She promised more support to the Youths programme in the next budget whose theme is "Support to Enterprise Growth".
